PIONEER COUNTRY

Southeast Idaho has over 500 miles of groomed trails on Forest Service land through uncrowded forest terrain and powdery ungroomed trails. County grooming programs also maintain hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails. Warming shelters and parking is available at most areas. Several friendly lodges offer snowmobile rentals and adventure packages. The Rocky Mountain Hill Climb Association sponsors Hill Climb Races each year in Preston, Bear Lake and Pebble Creek near Pocatello.

Year round hot springs resorts, including Lava Hot Springs , Maple Grove Hot Springs, Downata Hot Springs, and Riverdale Resort, will warm up snowmobilers after a great day of playing in the snow.
